it was a beautiful day outside today, and while i did make it out for a sandwhich with Mikey and Ro, i spent the rest of the day indoors (minus the occasional patio smoke with Mikey) working on some of the final visual attributes to the nSLASHa App…
after getting the green light last week, we have been able to move forward much more determinately, and were really coming up on the point where were doing final tweaks and have the overall vibe and style nailed to the fuckin cross… im super pumped about this thing, its still the coolest band related software ive seen to date, and it stands on its own as a piece of art, not just visually and audio wise but from a software point as well. its pushing just the right buttons i like to push while remaining functional and open… you will be able to do something with it, not just stare at it. software can go both ways, people need to understand this, particularly artists. if i (we) fail miserably, so be it… but i think either way we’re pushing open a door, and im not afraid of whats on the other side.
in other news, Mitch and i ripped up some more of the Johnski tracks the other day… (happy Bday mitch!) its a track were hoping to get paid for, but in the meantime were gonna continue to keep tweaking it and maybe itll be the first original Johnski & Jonski beat… now all we need is a band name…
and in Lucid Mechanism news, theres a new gig March 19th at Public Works in SF… more on that later, but we spent some time last night bringing some new material to the table, with some positive results, so im excited that weve got more than just 2 new tracks in the works…
more soon kids…
